If this is an achievement reward, and if its from a non account wide achievement, then you could theoretically do it on multiple characters in order to get all the colors since mounts are account wide. Otherwise you might be stuck with the one color you pick, which sucks for mount collectors.

Comment by selvin Obtained via challenge mode dungeon achievement: Challenge Conqueror: Silver. You trade in the egg to a vendor to get the mount you want. The colors you choose between from are Ashen and Emerald , Violet and possibly Crimson. The Crimson mount is freely available just for the beta to everyone, and it looks extremely beautiful and stands out in a crowd.

At the moment I can't find any other way of gaining the color's you didn't choose, so choose wisely! Edit: It may be possible to get multiple colors by getting the achievement multiple times on different characters. If any character on an account has earned a full set of Silver medals, all four variants of the Pandaren Phoenix Crimson, Ashen, Violet, and Emerald will become available to all characters account-wide.
